Ian Parsley

Associate Director

Ian Parsley Ian is an Associate Director with Chambré Public Affairs LLP with the responsibility for political campaigning and is experienced in every angle of influencing public opinion and government policy.

A new arrival at Chambré Public Affairs, Ian has enjoyed over a decade experience of working with some of Northern Ireland's foremost businesses and voluntary organisations. He will no doubt prove to be a major asset to clients as he commands an in-depth working knowledge of the devolved administration in Northern Ireland and how it relates to Westminster.

During this period, Ian was successful in changing the political debate surrounding these organisations, ensuring a more constructive relationship with political, community and professional leaders.

Ian's most recent work was with the London-based think tank the Centre for Social Justice, as its Northern Ireland consultant. He also worked for two years at Stormont as a policy adviser to the Alliance Party.

Ian has served for six years on North Down Borough Council, holds a BA Hons degree in Linguistics, speaks fluent German and Spanish and has contacts with MEPs and advisers from across the political spectrum in Brussels.

Client Testimonials

I find the research and monitoring service very useful. It helps us in planning effective engagement with the work programme at the Northern Ireland Assembly and contributes to our policy development work at the Federation of Small Businesses. It also assists with tracking events at both the Assembly and at Westminster.

Client Testimonials

The ABPI Northern Ireland Launch Meeting in The Long Gallery, Stormont was a crucial event for us, as it was an opportunity to set the standard by which we wanted to be judged. Chambré worked with us throughout the planning stage and were invaluable on the day, guiding us through the complexity of running an event at Stormont and every aspect of the meeting was taken care of and the attention to detail was excellent. We look forward to a continued working relationship as we grow and develop our campaigning for access to new medicines for everyone.
